Germany is planning to increase the number of visa’s for immigrant workers .
Germany decided to increase the number of annual visas from 20,000 to 90,000. This increase is attributed to two factors.
- Scarcity of skilled workers in science, healthcare and Enginnering
- Demographic shift- increase in the number of persons age 45+.
